Plastic Export Promotion Council Organizes Awareness Program in Indore





The Plastics Export Promotion Council (PLEXCONCIL), sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, hosted an Export Promotion Awareness Program for the Plastics Industry in Indore on January 24, 2020. The event was held in collaboration with Drip Capital and the Indian Plast Pack Forum.


PLEXCONCIL Expert Shri. Kurnal Godha was the Chief Speaker, while IPPF President Sachin Bansal graced the event as Chief Guest.

Objectives of the Program:

  • Highlight the importance and benefits of exports for the plastics industry.
  • Inform participants about the various schemes and policies offered by the Ministry of MSME and the Department of Commerce to support exporters.
  • Explain the process for availing government subsidies.
  • Encourage membership in PLEXCONCIL to access government benefits for exports.
  • Address challenges faced by exporters in the plastics industry.
  • Provide market intelligence, including potential export destinations and product opportunities.
  • Offer information on factoring, a collateral-free trade finance option facilitated by Drip Capital.


This program aimed to empower businesses in the Indore region to leverage export opportunities and contribute to the growth of the Indian plastics industry.
